Easter Baby

Ryan Jacob Lurcook was born Easter Sunday! I was a bit afraid to go into labor I didn’t know what it would feel like but I am very proud of myself I didn’t think I would need pitocin again but turns out I did. It all started Saturday morning April 11th I woke up and we had planned on taking Cadon to play a game of mini golf we left at noon when I started to get contractions I thought they were just Braxton hicks but really painful so I figured we would go anyway even though every time I had a contraction I felt like kicking the nearest person to me hahaha so we went and I kept having them every ten min. never got closer I waited till 8pm still having contractions every ten min. when I decided that it was to painful and I was ready to get the baby out. I told Brandon this was it so we dropped Cadon off at my moms and headed to the hospital when we got there I wasn’t the only one in labor but the other woman seemed to be having her contractions way closer mine were still only 10-15 min apart I told myself it wasn’t labor and they would probably send me home but they took me back and as soon as they checked me they asked “Did you bring your bags your at a 7?” my first thought was “shut up!” and I accidentally said it out loud I think I was having a contraction at that moment though that’s my only excuse. I was admitted and Had Ryan shortly after. Ryan looks just like Cadon just with blonde hair and blue eyes. Ryan Weighed 8lbs and 7oz and in just one week he gained one pound!! I don’t know how much he weighs now but he is growing so fast I have to buy him more clothes and he is already in a size 1 in diapers! I am sorry I have not updated in a while I have been so busy I am sorry I have tried to get a good picture of his blue eyes but the flash makes him shut his eyes but here are some pictures of when he was born and now at two weeks. ENJOY!!
