Happy Halloween

Let me start out with saying what a beautiful day! It was 68 when I went out around 10am and it wasn’t windy it was perfect as it got later the better the weather got. Cadon was a monkey this year and although he would much rather wear no clothes than to have any on he actually kept his monkey costume on the whole time he loved it he kept making monkey noises all night and just loved going to strangers houses and getting candy! I wish Brandon could had been here to share this with us but we were thinking about him all night so here are some pictures of Cadon in his costume and of the game we played after we got back from trick or treating! ENJOY (LOVE YOU SWEETHEART AND WE MISS YOU VERY MUCH HOPE YOU HAD A WONDERFUL HALLOWEEN!

October 25, 2008
Today was Dane’s second birthday, which is Cadon’s second cousin…….so we had a birthday party to go to which was a blast! They rented a moon bounce and the kids just jumped and jumped. At the birthday party Amy announced she was expecting another one so baby Lurcook and baby Locke will have a buddy to go on play dates with. So congratulations to you! And on another note as my day was coming to an end Cadon’s was just starting his uncle Matt and Auntie Ashley planned a sleepover and I know they are going to have so much fun he loves his auntie and uncle so much I bet they will play video games watch cartoons and maybe they will give him all the chocolate he can eat I mean he is away from his mommy and that’s usually how it goes when he stays with his grandparents but I am going to enjoy this time although im already getting emotional I always say if only I could sleep in I would be the happiest woman alive I find that I cant sleep knowing I don’t get to wake up next to my little man but I am very happy because not only do I get a full nights sleep but I have a pre-natal massage tom. YAY I never do anything for myself and thanks to all the help I have here I get to do that so THANK YOU LURCOOK/LOCKE FAMILY and an end to my blog I just want to say one more thing Ashley and Matt thank you so much for making me feel so special and planning that little party for the new baby and just being so helpful Cadon really does love you and I appreciate all the little and big things you do just to help out I am so blessed to have in-laws like you oh and Lillian I am very proud of you graduating and going pursuing nursing at Radford words cant describe how proud I am of my little baby sister who is almost 18 I might add! Oh and Brandon I love and miss you only five more months and your home!!

Baby Update

I am now fifteen weeks pregnant! I had a doctor’s appointment today just a regular check up to check my weight, which is already 140lbs. that’s ten pounds already YIKES! Anyways I went in for my checkup and he asked how I was feeling I told him I feel great so great I don’t even feel pregnant and he said have you had an ultrasound to make sure the baby is even there in a joking way and he said well I can sneak you in and get you one right now so I gladly agreed and we went into the room and I got to see my beautiful baby for the first time I was so happy I couldn’t stop smiling I wanted to scream I was so excited the baby measured 7 inches from head to toe baby is the size of a soda can in fetal position! I am going to put a picture up as soon as I can. I came home and showed my little man the picture of his baby brother/sister and he shouted “I SEE!” no joke and gave me the biggest hug and kiss then gave my belly a kiss I am so blessed with a wonderful son after this baby my family will be complete I am the happiest woman alive right now and just want everyone to know!

Oh and one more thing for my hubby reading this……WE LOVE AND MISS YOU!

Baby P Grandma is here now come on and let me meet you already!

Its.My.Life

My husband was deployed overseas on the USS IWO JIMA in August of 08. My In-laws Invited me to stay with them for the time Brandon will be gone to help me in any way and to get to know their grandson. I gladly took them up on their offer and took a flight to Idaho the day after my husband left. Since we have been here I have already made so many beautiful memories! The first week we were here we had a bonfire and it was a blast the next week we I went to Art In the Park which has a bunch of vendors from all around the world that showcase their artwork and little crafts that you can buy and It was so much fun. It is now October and to start fall off right the Lurcook/Locke Family went to pick apples which I had never done before we also went to a pumpkin patch and picked some nice pumpkins to carve and I am happy to say I will be carving my first pumpkin this year!! Cadon was a trooper it was freezing the day we went to the pumpkin patch but he soon found himself surrounded by pumpkins and he had a ball he even picked out the cutest one it was just the right size! On another note my sister in-law is expecting and I get to meet little P in November. I am so happy for the Locke Family and am very proud of my sister Ashley she is such a wonderful friend a great wife and she will be the best mother. Since Brandon left he has been able to send me emails and update me on the neat things he gets to see and do. He has been to Israel and has swam in the Dead Sea! Right now he is somewhere in Bahrain he is doing very well and we are all so proud of him for everything he is doing for us and for the United States. Cadon misses his daddy very much and asks about him everyday and I calmly let him know daddy is working on a boat and we will get to see him very soon. Every time Cadon hears a helicopter of airplane he points in the air and shouts dada, which just makes me melt. Cadon is Two years old now and is growing so fast I cant believe how much he has grown he may be a little monster at times which I am guilty for I think he might get it from me? Hahaha But he loves his mommy and if ever im sick he is the one to get me a blanket and wrap me up and give me hugs when mommy gets sad and snuggles with me every night with his little arms wrapped around me he is my WORLD. And to add to our growing family I am expecting Baby Lurcook #2 In April of next year, which means Brandon will be get to be there for the birth of his second little peanut being born!!! I do want to end this blog with letting my family back home ~ The Ramos/Malone Family~ Know that we miss you all very much and I want to thank my mom and dad for everything they have done for my family and we are so very grateful to have you in our lives Cadon misses his Nana very much and his Papa! Lillian your almost 18 WOW my baby sister is all grown up I will always be here for you don’t ever forget that and for my little boo face Andre aka ” Walrus” I don’t want you to grow up anymore so when I get home you better still be my lil baby brother I love and miss you very much! And Jacob you are such a great man and brother keep your head up you are going to do great things and as for Krystal I miss our little chats and our trips to Cold Stone you are such a great friend and we are always thinking about you see you In January! That’s it for today I will put some recent pictures up as soon as I figure out how to!!!!
